The best Halloween looks and how to Cinch-ify them
Trick-or-treat! Spooky season is well and truly upon us, which means celebrities are getting ready to wow us with their annual parade of Halloween looks.
This year, we’ve rounded up some of our favourite costumes and Cinch-ified them. Whether that’s by adding an extra glow, prepping the skin for the perfect base or re-hydrating after 12 hours in prosthetics, we’re elevating these already next-level looks.

Drew Scarrymore – sorry, we mean Drew Barrymore – seemed to sense that the world had had enough of the spooky stuff in 2020, opting for an altogether nicer witchy Halloween look.
Instead of going down the Wicked Witch of the West route, Drew instead stepped into the shoes of Glinda the Good Witch from the Wizard of Oz, complete with billowing pink tulle gown and sparkly crown.
It’s a side of the actress-turned-talk show host, who favours more structured, menswear-inspired looks, we don’t see very often. Even her makeup got the Good Witch treatment, with Drew’s trademark dark lip swapped for a pretty pink version instead.
To give her Halloween moment the Cinch treatment, we’d be starting with a layer of Spray + Glow. It’s lush, it’s rich and it brightens any makeup look – even the Good Witch’s.
Heidi Klum as Jessica Rabbit

It’s actually against every Halloween rule not to mention Heidi Klum when it comes to the best celebrity looks; the supermodel is to Halloween costumes what Michael Bublé is to Christmas music.
Even though, somehow, she manages to outdo herself every year, we can’t go past her turn as Jessica Rabbit back in 2015. Heidi spent 10 hours – 10! – in the makeup chair, having layer upon layer of prosthetics carefully applied to her entire body to transform into the iconic cartoon character.
And with those carefully arched eyebrows, curve-hugging dress and lush red wig, it’s fair to say she nailed the brief.
We’re going to go out on a limb here, though, and suggest that Ms Klum’s skin could probably use more than a little TLC when it came time to remove all of that latex.
Enter Sleep + Glow; the paw paw and pineapple enzymes in our overnight mask would help dissolve any leftover impurities while the Hyaluronate would get some much-needed hydration back into Heidi’s skin as she slept off another successful Halloween.
Mariah Carey as a Rockstar

The original pop princess switched music genres for Halloween 2019, trading her tiara in for a mullet for the ultimate transformation: Diva to Rockstar.
And although it’s fair to say our Mimi loves a good glam look at any time of year, there’s no doubt she relished the opportunity to change up her usual glowy makeup for a heavy metal one.
The thick contour and blush, silver eyeshadow and bright lip are straight from the 80s playbook and, paired with a choker and electric guitar, has us suddenly craving a rock version of All I Want For Christmas.
No doubt Mariah knows that for such a heavy makeup look, skin prep is key. We’d suggest a spritz of Pump + Glow; as well as giving 72 hours of hydration, our five-in-one miracle worker acts as a pore minimiser, illuminator and primer. A rockstar product for a rockstar look.
Sarah Michelle Gellar as Effie Trinket

With a lot of Halloween parties on hold last year, most celebrities were keeping things pretty lowkey by the time October 31 rolled around. Not Sarah Michelle Gellar though; the Buffy actress went all out as Hunger Games favourite Effie Trinket.
In true Capitol style, Sarah Michelle started with a thick layer of white face paint – all the better to let that bright yellow eyeshadow pop. With a tightly curled blonde wig, butterfly laden fascinator and eyelashes that would make the real Effie Trinket squeal with delight, Sarah Michelle really leaned into her theme.
But what goes on must come off, so to truly Cinch-ify this look we’d be sliding our favourite vampire slayer a set of Wipe + Glow. There’s no makeup too heavy for these reusable lifesavers, with super soft fibres on one side for everyday cleansing and textured fabric on the other for more stubborn makeup removal. Add a couple of pumps of Cleanse + Glow to help remove and cleanse the skin and hey presto, it’s out with the Effie and in with the SMG.
